“We had four players tryout for this team. I’m really proud of all of them. They represented themselves extremely well. This is a great opportunity for Colin and Tyler to showcase their abilities and compare themselves against the best players in their age group in North America” said 16u head coach Daryl Macklem.

Jacob Miller, of the Oshawa 18u Legionaires, was also named to the team making it three players from Baseball Oshawa teams playing in the tournament.

The Sunbelt Classic is one of, if not, the top showcase tournament for high school players in North America and attracts several high profile college scouts every year.
