What Equipment Does My Child Need to Play?

other local sports stores, or Walmart. Aside from cleats (optional), most gear will last kids at least a few years.

• Uniform Top with Major League team name
• Team Hat   
• Team Bat(s)
• Team Catcher's Equipment  

Parents Must Provide:

• Helmet with chin strap (must be CSA-approved, recommended Rawlings Cool Flo One size fits all helmet). 

• Glove suitable for the level of play: easy to flex fingers, especially for younger players.  
• Grey Baseball Pants

• Baseball Cleats are recommended but not necessary, especially at the tee ball level. 
• Bats are provided by Baseball Oshawa, but players may wish to bring their own, and should be coach approved (Up to Peewee: metal, Bantam: wood)
• Baseball Belt
• Jock/Jill are not required, but are strongly recommended for older age groups, and for kids in Minor Rookie and Rookie for the catcher position.
