Share New Year, Dream Job for Baseball Oshawa's Steven Crawford

Baseball Oshawa executive member now official Toronto Blue Jays photographer!We are proud to share that one of our very own Baseball Oshawa board members has been hired on by the Toronto Blue Jays as the team’s official photographer. In 2015, Steven Crawford joined the Baseball Oshawa board and has assisted in the photography and marketing efforts of our league.
“This is literally a dream come true. If you asked me to pick any career in the world I would choose to be the photographer for the Blue Jays. 15 years of dreaming and working has culminated in the ultimate goal. I am thankful for this opportunity and am extremely excited about taking on this role,” Steven said.
His passion for baseball is only matched by his passion for photography. Steven first picked up a camera in high school and his love of photography developed from a hobby into a business in 2012. For the past four years, Steven has focused his business on sports photography with a specific interest in baseball. Prior to landing the job with the Toronto Blue Jays, he held the position of photographer with Ontario Tech University and has also shot for Baseball Oshawa, Baseball Canada, and a number of other local baseball associations. In addition to his role as a photographer, he has taught photography at Durham College for the past four years at a part-time professor.
Steven has also served as a coach in both the house league and rep levels of our association sharing his passion for the game of baseball with players aged 3 to 18 since 2016.
