Peewee Rules

These Peewee rules are in addition to the General Rules.

1. This league is for twelve and thirteen year old boys and girls.

2. Once an inning is started it should be completed if possible.

3. Each player on the team must play a minimum of two innings in the infield in the first five innings. Three outfielders will be used in an outfield position.

4. Free substitution is allowed, but not in a way to unduly delay the game. The catcher cannot be changed during an inning unless due to injury to the catcher.

5. Official baseball rules apply.

6. Warnings will be given for balks through the second Sunday in June. Balks will be called for the rest of the season and subsequent playoffs.

7. A Peewee pitcher is allowed a maximum of six consecutive outs in one appearance. Once a pitcher is removed he/she may not pitch again in that game.

Note: The league does not encourage the use of breaking ball pitches.

8. Basepaths are 75 feet apart and the pitcher's mound is 50 feet.
